High School Drop-In
Mondays 2:30-4:30pm

Youth visit our youth centre on a weekly basis and participate in both planned (tournaments and food nights) and informal activities (pool, ping pong, board games). It is through participation in these activities that our mature, caring Christian adult staff and volunteers are able to build relationships of mutual trust and respect. After building these relationships, we are then able to discover the needs of the youth and plan core programs to address those current needs.

Chill Zone
Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00-5:00 pm

An after-school drop-in program for youth in grades 6, 7 and 8. The purpose of this program is to establish relationships of trust at an earlier age so that when they experience the pressures of being a teenager in high school, they have people in their life who they trust. This program will run vary similar to our high school program except that any planned activities will be prepared with younger children in mind.

Youth Alpha Series

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explores faith and the meaning of life. It is for anyone who’s curious. Each session looks at a different topic, and is designed to create conversation. It’s just an open, informal and honest
space to explore big questions about faith and life together. Alpha has approximately 10 sessions with a day away in the middle. Each session includes food, a short talk and discussion where you can share your thoughts and ask questions. And on top of all that, it is a free program for anyone in high school.

Stressed Teens

February 26th-April 23rd

This program will be facilitated by a certified therapist and will teach youth ways to handle the stress they experience every day. It will teach them techniques to help them live in the moment. It is an 8-week program with supporting materials and exercises to be completed in session and on their own. The only cost to the students will be to cover the cost of the materials.

Registration is required for this program. Please contact us for dates and times.
